At baseball practice, with every swing of the bat, we can imagine winning more and more games against our competitors. In a Gators practice we see lots of joy and discipline. The amount of connection the players have with each other.

This Baseball team at HSEI also known as the Gators have been delivering promising outcomes in the PSAL 3A league for years, where the Gators have consistently performed at such a high level.

The baseball boys varsity team 3A at Inwood Campus ended their 2025 season second place at the PSAL 3A division championship. It was a remarkable season for the Gators as they finally went past the 3rd round of playoffs for the first time in 4 years.  While 2025 was such an amazing season for Inwood campus, this year we are seeing new talent and well-developed chemistry on the field.

Edward Polanco, a frequent spectator at baseball games, says “This year’s season is going good. The playoffs are coming up!”

HSEI baseball started off not too strong, losing their first game of their 2026 season, but has risen up to win 9 games in a row. This 2026 season is very promising and still awaits for the end results as there are 3 games left getting closer to playoffs.

According to statistics of PSAL baseball 3A division, Inwood Campus is ranked 9th in New York among all 32 schools in PSAL 3A. Inwood Campus is a 4-time champion in the CSAA league before entering the PSAL league. Including back to back to back victories 2017,2018, and 2019.

PSAL baseball has had lots of amazing High School programs in the 3A division aside from Inwood Campus. Such as George Washington High School known as the Trojans, Monroe High School known as the Eagles, Richmond Hill, Tottenville High School known as the Tigers, and many more. The popular professional baseball player Manny Ramirez assisted George Washington High School where he led them to three straight years championships, 1988, 1989, and 1990.
